Is it our compatriots being killed, or are WE being killed?
“How do I know if, sitting anywhere in the world, I am doing enough? Here is how.
For every fallen soldier, do I feel that someone in my family has been lost forever?
For every amputated limb, do I feel that a part of me has been cut off?
For every buried hero, do I feel that a part of me has been buried along with them?
For every lost home, do I see my own house going up in flames?
For every lost son, do I feel the pain of not seeing my own son mature in life?
For every lost dream, do I feel personally obligated to keep all other dreams alive?
Is it our compatriots being killed, or are WE being killed?
Is it THEM in Armenia being harmed, or us being harmed in Buenos Aires, Saratov, Marseille and Vancouver?
In those who have perished, do we just see names we don't recognize, faces that are unfamiliar?
Is sacrifice only for others, or do I sacrifice equally?
Are we just making a donation to a fund, or are we changing the way we live for years to come and advancing all of it to our nation?
How much of my net worth is Armenia/Arstakh worth? 20%, 10%, 5%, 0.002%
How much of that answer have I already paid?
If to save my own family I am ready to put up my whole savings, how much of it am I ready to put up to save my nation?
If to save my own home from destruction I am ready to pay a very high cost, how much of it am I ready to pay for our national home?
If our bravest are holding up the Eastern front at the risk of their physical well-being, am I brave enough to back them up with my financial well-being?
What kind of statement are we sending to the Eastern front? Are we worthy of their sacrifice just as they have already been worthy of mine?
Two hundred or five hundred million dollars raised, when the math says we should reach 10-30 billion worldwide. Are we excited or highly disappointed by those numbers?
How much would you give if you could bring back every life, every dream? That's exactly how much you should sacrifice now to save lives and dreams.
Only if we ask ourselves all the right questions, will we get the right answers.
So how do I know if, sitting anywhere in the world, I am doing enough?
Now you know.
