Yerevan State University is the first and leading high education institution in Armenia. It is founded in 1919. By now approximately 100000 students have graduated from YSU. About 19000 students study at 19 faculties and Ijevan branch of this HEI. The educational process is conducted by more than 1660 highly qualified professors and lecturers (215 professors, 557 associate professors, 427 assistants, 489 lecturers). 39 academicians of NAS RA and 26 associate members of NAS RA are also involved in the educational process of this higher education institution. Owing to highly qualified scientists significant researches related to different modern scientific branches are implemented at YSU. The educational and research activities are organized at more than 100 chairs, which are periodically replenished with modern techniques and equipment.

The American University of Armenia (AUA) is a private institution of higher learning, offering a global education in Armenia. AUA is affiliated with the University of California and accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, 985 Atlantic Avenue, #100, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001.

Fondation Université Française en Arménie (UFAR) is a French language higher education institution in Armenia. Instruction is primarily in French and Armenian. From the outset UFAR has become the lighthouse of collaboration with France and the mainstay of Francophone in Armenia.
The pedagogic principle of granting two Armenian and French state diplomas (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) was adopted from the beginning. The duration of studies is four years in the Bachelor’s degree and two years in the Master’s degree, considering the peculiarities of the transition stage the Armenian universities are in before they entirely adopt the Bologna system.
French University in Armenia Foundation, which has approximately 1,000 students, aims to prepare highly qualified specialists that correspond to the needs of Armenian labor market and Caucasia economic region. The graduates of UFAR apply their knowledge to the advantage of relationships between Armenia, France and Europe, as well as the development of Armenia. They are the leaders and managers of tomorrow. At the end of their studies each year, roughly 70% of graduates find a job in their profession, some of whom pursue their education abroad. In three years’ time this percentage amounts to almost 100.

Russian-Armenian University (RAU) is one of the leading institutions in the South Caucasus region. It is under the joint authority of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia. The decision to establish RAU in Yerevan was made in 1997 when the RA and RF governments signed the agreement to open a Russian university in Armenia. On April 29th, 2005 RAU was accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Students receive Double Diplomas, accredited by both Armenian and Russian Ministries of Education and Science.
The first intake of students was held in February 1999 for Departments of Law, Public and Municipal Administration and Journalism. Since then the University has been constantly growing and encompassing new branches of learning and research.

Eurasia International University (EIU) is a private and accredited institution of higher education in Armenia, headquartered in Yerevan. Since 2004, EIU transitioned to the credit model which made the instruction fully compatible with the European Higher Education Area Standards and Bologna Agreement. EIU offers education at graduate and undergraduate levels in Law, Management, and Foreign Languages. EIU realizes different collaborations both regionally and internationally.

The European Regional Educational Academy is an interstate, non-profit fund within the RA. In accordance with European standards, the Academy offers graduate and post-graduate programs, research in different fields, short and long-term training courses in Yerevan as well as in the largest regions of the RA. The Academy realizes vocational training programs in different regions of the RA. The branches of the Academy are currently operating in such big cities of the country as Gyumri, Vanadsor, Gavar, and Ijevan.

Anania Shirakatsy Armenian National Lyceum is an educational institution that provides general education correspondent to international standards. It’s the one in Armenia that’s both a member of IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) and Round Square.
The educational complex started its activity in 1990 as an institution aimed at the discovery of talented children and the organization of their education. Today it implements the corresponding IB (International Baccalaureate) programs in the primary (PYP), middle (MYP) and high (DP) schools, as well as in the preschool.
Quantum College is the first experimental non-governmental school in the RA (Republic of Armenia), which has been existing since September 1991 according to the license 001. The students of the college get a state diploma of graduation.
Today about 600 students study in 35 classes of the college. The college has primary school (Grades 1-4), middle school (Grades 5-9) and high school (Grades 10 -12).
QSI Yerevan is an English-speaking international school serving students from pre-kindergarten through secondary levels. it's accredited through Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and fully accredited in the United States. Its academic program is geared to prepare our students for admission into, and graduation from universities throughout the world. Their students, in addition to English, have instruction in French, Russian, Spanish, German and Armenian. Additionally, QSI offers secondary students Advanced Placement programming. In May of 2011, a state-of-the-art facility was dedicated to serving the ever-expanding student population in Yerevan. Continued growth at QSI Yerevan is anticipated.
UWC Dilijan represents an exciting extension of the UWC movement into the Caucasus region at the junction of Asia and Europe. It is the 14th United World College. UWC Dilijan offers IB Diploma Programme, an academic programme recognized by universities worldwide. The college is located in a romantic 16th-century town on the outskirts of the Dilijan National Park in central Armenia.
The entertainment at Child center uses the Montessori educational system, developed by an Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori. This method is characterized by the emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological, physical, and social development. And it is successfully applied around the world for over 100 years.
Tumo Center for Creative Technologies is a resource for teenagers interested in activities at the intersection of technology and art. The goal of the center is to offer thousands of kids per year a unique learning experience. For most of them, that will mean getting intensive exposure to new ways of working, new tools. For others, it will plant the seeds of a career in a competitive field.
Tumo is focusing on 4 areas that are attractive to kids and that also have career potential: Filmmaking, Game design, Computer animation and Web development. It officially opened in August 2011. The center now welcomes all interested kids aged 12-18 free of charge.
