We do this through engaging workshops built around our Megawatt card game. Students learn about energy and develop skills in communication, teamwork and problem solving, while being introduced to opportunities in the energy sector. Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Lead will play a leading role in the promotion of the Megawatt brand to increase our overall digital footprint. This will be achieved through a number of different marketing channels aimed at our target customers. The role shall comprise the following:
  1. Plan and execute a social media strategy, both through generating content and interacting with online communities comprised of our target audience.
  2. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for lead generation and conversion
  3. Plan and execute digital advertising and social media advertising for lead generation and conversion
  4. Create and/or oversee the creation and management of digital content to support our marketing activities
  5. Support the optimisation of Megawatt’s website to improve organic search visibility and performance
  6. Respond to initial customer enquiries as a result of our marketing activities
  7. Work with the Managing Director and Creative Director to ensure digital marketing activities are in line with Megawatt’s business goals and objectives

Essential Criteria
  • At least 3 years experience in digital marketing roles
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation and conversion, particularly in email marketing and paid digital advertising
  • Some knowledge of the following areas: social media, content marketing, SEO
  • Self-starter mentality able to work independently, turn ideas into actionable plans and execute them efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mindset, and able to interpret and make decisions based on data
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities, and learn new skills or technologies as required by the business
 
 
 
Desirable Criteria
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm, interest and knowledge of energy, sustainability, and climate change issues
  • Experience or understanding of the educational sector in the UK
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with design software


Location and Hours:
Fully remote opportunity. Part-time to Full-time available. Competitive Salary.
