Do you know that there are around 7000 NGOs in Armenia? Unfortunately, in the diaspora and among repatriates, only a tiny percentage of people know about NGOs in Armenia and how to engage with them. However, far more people would like to support Armenia. We decided to organize an event which aims to solve this problem. Gagik Avetuntsi, a repatriate from Russia and iGorts program fellow, gave an overview of Armenian NGO sector and challenges people from Diaspora face while supporting NGOs. Also, we got to know 5 NGOs and discussed, how any of you can be engaged in the non-profit sector of Armenia.
