As a Project Manager at BostonGene, you will lead projects specifically tailored to the cancer field. This role demands a deep understanding of biological sciences combined with expertise to manage project scopes, resources, schedules, and finances effectively. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical teams and biological research objectives, ensuring that our projects meet both scientific and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional project teams in the planning, executing, and delivering scientific projects in the cancer field.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering on time and within budget.

Evaluate and forecast project costs using your accounting skills to ensure financial viability and cost-effectiveness of solutions.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including providing updates and adjustments to project scopes, schedules, and costs as needed.

Address and resolve any technical or scientific issues, ensuring compliance standards.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to enhance project outcomes and deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Proficient in accounting principles relevant to project cost management.

Proven experience in project management within IT, life sciences, or a related industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
-
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
